FAQ

Clear answers before your event goes live.

The fastest way to evaluate GuestQR is to understand exactly what happens for guests, what stays open after the event, and where it differs from a standard upload-only tool.

What makes GuestQR different from a typical event upload app?

GuestQR starts at the front door. Guests scan one code to check in, find their seat, upload photos or videos, and leave a message. It is the guest-facing event layer, not just an upload link.

How long can guests upload photos and videos?

Guest uploads stay open through 10 days after the event ends. That gives organizers time to collect the last phone photos after the event without keeping the upload window open forever.

How long do uploads stay available?

Retention depends on the plan: Free keeps uploads for 30 days after the event ends, and Premium keeps them for 365 days. Reminder emails go out when 30 days and 7 days remain.

Are videos supported?

Yes. Every plan supports guest video uploads up to 25 MB per file. Images remain capped lower to keep uploads lightweight and reliable.

Can I use GuestQR for a multi-day event?

Yes. Multi-day events can run for up to 10 days. GuestQR uses the event end date to decide when uploads close, when follow-up emails send, and when cleanup reminders begin.

Does GuestQR have a live wall for TVs or projectors?

Yes. Organizers can open a fullscreen live wall that cycles through event media and can be shared with the venue or AV team.
